Your Opportunity

• As part of our deal team, you will develop solutions to complex legal issues in the areas finance, restructuring and insolvency, and special situations. You will actively take part in meetings with partners and clients.
• In addition, you will work on the implementation of these solutions, in particular by preparing relevant legal documentation and managing transactions in a multitude of European and overseas jurisdictions.
• You will, for instance, contribute to the implementation of corporate acquisitions and infrastructure projects, to the solution of distressed situations of companies or to the development of innovative solutions in areas where an established market practice has not yet developed.

Your Background

• You have a law degree from an Austrian university (Mag. iur./ LL.M.). Candidates with a doctorate’s degree and/or common law LL.M. preferred.
• You have completed working the required 9 months at court (Gerichtsjahr).
• You bring along a certain degree of international (personal, academic or work) experience.
• You are proficient in both German and English.
• You are communicative and reliable, and not only able to work independently but also in a team.

Formal Requirements

In order for your application to be considered for this position, you must be (or fulfill the requirements to be) registered as Rechtsanwaltsanwärter:in with the Vienna Bar Association (Rechtsanwaltskammer Wien).
